Packaging Technician

Responsibilities

• Apply Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and customer requirements in all areas of responsibility.
• Conduct all activities in a safe, efficient manner and comply with all safety regulations.
• Perform manual or automated assembly, manufacturing, filling, packaging, and labeling of pharmaceutical products.
• Act as the primary performer of in-process and AQL inspections and other necessary tasks.
• Perform computer-related tasks to execute necessary duties, including signing in to jobs, in-process actions, and data entry.
• Participate in the start-up and closure of packaging jobs.
• Clean packaging rooms and machinery in accordance with SOPs and GMP.
• Accept or reject in-process clinical supplies and drug products.
• Perform counts of components and drug product.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly, GMP, labeling, cleanroom, and packaging.
• Ability to perform quality inspections and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Hand-eye coordination, dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to perform repetitive tasks with both hands.
• Working mathematical skills including counting, addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
• Ability to interpret 2D diagrams and batch paperwork for proper assembly of clinical supplies.
• Capability to meet physical requirements such as standing continuously, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in various temperature environments.

This is a Contract position based out of Allentown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.70 - $19.55/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Allentown,PA.
