Maintenance Technician

William Penn Realty Group is a leading property management company located in delaware county Pa. We are dedicated to providing exceptional living experiences for our residents. We’re looking for a skilled and dependable Apartment Maintenance Technician to help maintain the quality and safety of our community.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs in apartment units and common areas
• Troubleshoot and fix plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance issues
• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally
• Prepare apartments for new residents (turnovers/make-readies)
• Maintain grounds and outdoor areas, including seasonal tasks like snow removal or landscaping
• Assist with emergency repairs as needed (on-call rotation with an extra bonus plus Overtime)
• Follow safety procedures and company policies
• - Perform a wide range of repairs and general maintenance tasks.
• Address resident apartment repairs promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct plumbing repairs as needed.
• Handle electrical repairs to maintain safety and functionality.
• Repair and maintain hot water/heater systems.
• Complete maintenance work in vacant units within specified timelines.
• Install kitchen countertops and replace locks as required.
• Coordinate with contractors for when needed
• Manage inventory by ordering necessary supplies.
• Must be able to work well with others and be a team player

**Experience:**

• Proficiency in plumbing (vanity install, kitchen sink install), electrical work, and carpentry.
• Criminal background check is mandatory.
• Valid driver's license and reliable daily transportation.
• Knowledge of boilers, hot water heater replacements a plus but not required
• Prior experience a plus but not required
• Customer service orientation to ensure resident satisfaction.
• Must live within a 5 mile radius of 19018 due to oncall

We offer guaranteed 40 hr work week with overtime if wanted, paid PTO, Paid holidays, extra bonus for on call, paid time & 1/2 from when you leave your house to when you return if called out on call, monthly gas check as well as phone reimbursement.

Compensation is based on experience. Starting rate $23.00 but can go as much as $30.00
