Consumer Loan Processor/Closer

We have a tremendous opportunity for someone with experience processing and closing mortgage and consumer loans.  Our client is looking for someone to “own” the loan process from application to closing and be a vital part of the team.  If you are looking for a place where you are more than a number, this is it.

Essential Functions

This position is responsible for processing and closing residential mortgages, home equity loans/lines, and consumer loans from application through funding.

• Process loans from application through closing and funding
• Review applications and documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Order and review appraisals, title work, flood certifications, and credit reports
• Prepare closing packages and required disclosures
• Coordinate closing schedules and funding wires
• Ensure underwriting conditions are satisfied before closing
• Maintain compliant loan files and accurate pipeline reporting
• Communicate with borrowers and internal/external partners throughout the process

Here is what our client requires:  

• 1 - 3+ years of experience in mortgage processing, consumer loan processing, loan servicing, and/or lending operations
• Experience preparing and closing residential mortgages, HELOCs, home equity loans, and consumer loans
• Working knowledge of TRID disclosures (Loan Estimates, Closing Disclosures, Redisclosures)
• Experience coordinating with borrowers, lenders, underwriters, title companies, and appraisers
• Familiarity with loan origination systems. Vision experience is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent. Associate’s degree in business, Finance, Banking or related field preferred. Experience outweighs education.
• Available to work onsite in Jim Thorpe, PA
