Paralegal

Paralegal (Full-Time, Hybrid/Remote, Non-Exempt)

Becket & Lee, LLP, a respected leader in the bankruptcy community, is seeking a full-time hybrid/remote Paralegal to join its legal team. The ideal candidate brings at least two years of paralegal experience, strong written communication skills, and litigation experience. Experience in federal litigation or bankruptcy law is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Support attorneys and paralegals in bankruptcy matters.
• Draft correspondence, motions, reports, appendices, and exhibits, and maintain electronic case files.
• Compile records and supporting documentation for pleadings and legal arguments.
• Review and analyze banking and other business records.
• Monitor mail, bankruptcy plans, and court dockets.
• Research case facts, legal authorities, and other relevant materials.
• Prepare, revise, finalize, and assist with the filing of legal documents.
• Communicate professionally with clients and local counsel.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree, or equivalent bankruptcy-related experience.
• Excellent written, verbal, and analytical skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Sound judgment and discretion in handling confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Familiarity with Westlaw or LexisNexis preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work efficiently with time-sensitive materials and deadlines.
