Dental Office Receptionist

Collegeville Pediatric Dentistry is seeking our newest team member. Looking for a highly motivated, creative and forward thinking candidate to join our receptionist team. We are a single doctor, patient focused practice. We are looking for someone who is friendly, professional, and reliable with the right work ethic that can provide exceptional customer service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greets all patients and visitors in a warm, sincere, and helpful manner
• Manages multi-line phone system and processes calls accordingly
• Maintains a productive clinical schedule for the doctor and hygienist
• Schedules and confirms patient appointments
• Handles patient billing and insurance information
• Reviews treatment plans and collects co-payments
• Maintains digital patient charts
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Dental receptionist/insurance experience preferred
• Highly professional, dependable with a positive attitude
• Efficiently and effectively solve problems while working independently as well as collaboratively to support smooth operations
• Excellent customer service and ability to maintain professionalism under stress
• Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time efficiently with frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer, phone and internet skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs
• Ability to operate office machinery: fax, scan; postage machine etc.
