What you’ll build

The Global Delivery Hub, a subdivision of SAP Customer Value Group, has the goal and mission to ensure AI and Innovation adoption and consumption in our customer base.

We are seeking an experienced SAP AI Business Architect with deep Manufacturing/PLM expertise to architect, design and drive AI-driven solutions within our SAP ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in SAP application areas (Manufacturing/PLM) along with good knowledge on AI frameworks, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), ensuring identifying business challenges and translating them into AI driven solutions, resulting in positive business outcomes for our customers.

Our customers are focused on realizing business outcomes, leveraging solutions and technologies, especially AI. As an SAP Business AI Architect, the role requires a strong understanding of working with end-to-end business process design and realization across SAP Business Suite solutions in manufacturing and PLM, and the ability to translate industry-specific business outcomes and process requirements into effective AI-led technical architectures and solutions.

Expectations and Tasks:

• 
  Lead executive-level AI discovery, strategy, and innovation workshops tailored to Manufacturing, PLM use cases.
• Identify, prioritize, and design AI/GenAI use cases; build and run PoCs/MVPs to validate value and feasibility for Manufacturing, and PLM.
• Drive Architecture Transformation Services for strategic customers; define target architectures and roadmaps aligned to SAP product roadmaps and SAP Business AI.
• Lead as Solution Architect for complex SAP programs (S/4HANA Manufacturing, Digital Manufacturing, PLM, etc.), from discovery through go-live and value realization.
• Resolve critical customer situations by applying strong techno /functional expertise in SAP Manufacturing/PLM and related processes.
• Collaborate with SAP product engineering and product management on roadmaps (e.g., Joule, SAP AI Core/Launchpad, Generative AI Hub) to guide customers to future-proof choices.
• Advise on SAP best practices, SAP reference architectures, and implementation patterns for supported SAP Solution Areas in Manufacturing & PLM
• Champion SAP Services portfolio (e.g., Success Plans) and collaborate with Sales, and Delivery to position and execute value-based engagements.
• Coach and coordinate cross-functional teams across the Americas; provide thought leadership, assets, and repeatable patterns to scale AI adoption
• Candidates should be prepared to travel up to 40% as part of this role

What you bring

• 
  Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in the below-mentioned application and technology topics.
• Proven experience as an SAP Architect with expertise in SAP Manufacturing (S/4HANA Production Planning, Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PP/DS)..etc) . Or SAP PLM Solutions (Process / Discrete)
• Proficiency in SAP BTP services, including SAP AI Core, SAP AI Business Services, SAP Integration Suite, and SAP Extension Suite.
• Experience in architecting scenarios with use of SAP AI technologies and BTP services.
• Experience in architecting and deploying new AI Agents in SAP Manufacturing/PLM areas.
• Familiarity with SAP Joule, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Data Intelligence, and SAP Analytics Cloud, Vector Engines, and Knowledge Graphs.
• Good understanding of Generative AI & Prompt Engineering
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
• An AI-Powered Mindset
• Strong business process acumen and ability to understand the challenges you are asked to solve
• At least one industry experience is a must with strong domain knowledge

Compensation Range Transparency : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted annual combined range for this position is 151900 - 258300(USD). The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
