Job Title: Behavior Intervention Specialist
Location: Mountville, PA 17554 Employment Type: Full-Time (Monday to Friday)
Salary: $19.00 to $20.00

Your Role as a Behavior Intervention Specialist:
- Assist with the implementation of the student's Individualized Education Plan (IEP)
- Implement effective de-escalation and crisis management techniques, including appropriate response with verbal de-escalation and physical restraints when needed
- Provide direct support to students displaying impulsive or physically aggressive behaviors to ensure the safety of the student and others
- Assist students within the classroom/program setting during participation in special subjects such as Physical Education, vocational programs, and field trips.
- Implement appropriate behavior management strategies and techniques as supervised by Behavior Analyst(s).
- Observe/record data related to behavioral concerns to assess/monitor the progress of the student as needed

As part of the essential responsibilities for this position, you will be expected to:
Lift, push, or pull up to 65 pounds on a regular basis.
