As a Business Analytics Consultant Senior within PNC's Risk organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Cleveland OH, Brecksville, OH, Charlotte, NC, Dallas, Tx or Houston, Tx.

We’re looking for a Senior Business Analytics Consultant to support data provisioning and analytics in a fast paced credit and market risk environment. The role requires intermediate Python and SQL, and basic UNIX skills, hands on experience with Hadoop, Teradata, and Oracle, and familiarity with market risk systems and data is a plus. The candidate should understand banking products, enterprise data ecosystems, and have basic knowledge of financial statements. Beyond technical skills, we’re looking for someone who’s curious, proactive, adaptable to change, and interested in staying current with new analytics tools and techniques. Strong data storytelling and presentation skills are critical — this person needs to summarize complex data clearly and deliver meaningful business insights to both technical and non technical stakeholders. Nice to have experience includes but not limited to Git, Slurm, Oozie, Trino, cloud based data platforms, and Apache Iceberg.

Job Description

• Leverages complex analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and useful applications across multiple functions or business units to create data driven solutions.
• Consulting to clients on tool and strategy implementation and monitoring, statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality, and analytical product / solution development.
• Determining the optimal analytic approach and supporting development, implementation and enhancements.
• Conceptualizing, developing and continuously optimizing analytical solutions for business leadership to enable data driven decision making.
• Analyze results and make recommendations for key business partners and senior management or communicate conclusions from complex analytical solutions to a wide range of audiences.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $55,000.00 – $109,500.00

Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
