ATFC is a direct care registry providing referrals for senior companions and personal care services to qualified self-employed independent contractors. We are seeking part-time caregivers, home health aides, and CNAs to work short DAY SHIFTS with our clients in the Delaware, Chester, and Montgomery County areas. Immediate work is available! You must be able to drive to the client locations. Are you looking for fulfilling work that provides flexibility and work-life balance? Caregiving through ATFC puts you in control of your work schedule, whether you are caring for your family, pursuing an education, or looking for supplemental income. Applicant must have a minimum of 2 years of caregiver experience along with working with Alzheimers and dementia clients. Must be able to drive to clients' homes as public transportation is not readily available in many places.

Responsibilities:

• Provides friendly companionship, emotional support, and assistance with activities of daily living including cooking and meal preparation; walking and exercise, bathing, toileting, and grooming; light housekeeping tasks.
• Assists with ambulation and transfer activities and repositioning of a client, if needed
• Provides for a safe and sanitary environment for the client
• Utilizes basic infection control techniques and procedures
• Provides medication reminders as directed by the client's Care Plan
• Maintains patient confidentiality
• Encourages client control of and promotes the independent living philosophy
• Reports what activities were completed with the client and provides updates on the client's physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior as needed.
• Reports all incidents to ATFC management
• Establishes and maintains effective and professional communication and a strong relationship with clients, their family members, co-workers and office staff
• Timely submission of timesheets
• Provides client transportation for appointments and errands if qualified

Qualifications:

  ● Must legally be permitted to work in the United States.
  ● Must supply 2 job-related references.
  ● Must provide a government-issued photo ID.
  ● Must have available reliable transportation to and from assignments.
  ● Ability to speak, read, and write proficiently in English.
  ● Ability to lift over 20 pounds.
  ● A commitment to being present and providing quality care with compassion.
  ● Punctual, reliable, and professional.
  ● Ability to work independently.
  ● Must be technically proficient; ability to check in and out and log tasks performed via
  the caregiving mobile app.
  ● Must have a mobile device that supports the most up-to-date version of iOS or Android for
  mobile caregiving app.
  ● While not mandatory, possessing relevant professional licenses or certifications is a plus
