Director of Business Development

The Director of Business Development is responsible for identifying, developing, and securing strategic business opportunities to drive revenue growth, expand market presence, and strengthen competitive positioning. This role involves building and managing key relationships, developing strategic partnerships, and leading cross-functional initiatives to support the company’s long-term growth objectives.

• Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve business growth targets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets
• Lead the deal lifecycle: prospecting, pitching, negotiating, and closing
• Collaborate with internal teams to support growth initiatives
• Conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and risk assessments
• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions
• Build and maintain a robust pipeline of qualified leads and prospects
• Provide strategic input on pricing, service offerings, and go-to-market strategies
• Prepare business cases, proposals, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders
• Lead and mentor the business development team to achieve performance goals

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred, not required)
• 7+ years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships
• Proven track record of driving revenue growth and closing high-value deals
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Analytical mindset with ability to assess market data and trends
