Independent Mowing Manager

Location: Middletown, PA (serving Lancaster, Harrisburg, & Surrounding Areas)

Our teams transition into commercial snow operations and equipment/facility maintenance during the off-season.

Run a solo mowing route with clear production goals. Ideal for someone who is self-motivated and thrives working independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate a zero-turn mower
• Manage customer requests and tailor work to customer specifications
• Weekly mowing routes
• Line trimming, edging
• Seasonal mulch, pruning, leaf work
• Snow Removal in Winter. This may include overnight, early mornings, and extended shifts during snow events.

Qualifications

• High School Education, minimum of 2 years of mowing or related experience.
• Math and measuring skills
• Available to work independently in varied conditions
• Experience driving a pickup truck/trailer combo is required.
• Must have reliable transportation and a valid Pennsylvania Driver's License with a clean driving record
• Background check upon conditional offer of employment
• Smartphone/data device capability for field communication
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in varying weather conditions

Pay & Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 year-round employment with snow removal in the winter
• Pay: $18 to $22/hr + production bonus potential
• Overtime
• Paid Vacation - 80 hours annually, with an additional 8 hours at 1 year of employment. (maxing at 120 hours after 5 years)
• Unpaid Vacation - 80 hours annually
• Paid Sick time - 24 hours annually
• Health Insurance Reimbursement - one-half of the monthly cost up to $150
• 401K Match - 100% match on the first 3%, 0.5% on the next 2% contributed for a total of 4% match on 5% contribution
• Paid Holidays - New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve day
• Employee Referral Bonus Program
• Uniform Program - covers 50% of the weekly rental cost (employee contribution is optional and not required for the job)
