Senior Civil Designer (LSNA-PA)

We are looking for a driven, well organized, and client focused Senior Civil Designer at our Conshohocken, PA location to be a part of our team.
As a Senior Civil Design Professional you will collaborate closely with civil engineers, as well as architects, landscape architects, structural engineers, and MEP engineers – developing the necessary documentation in support of the required deliverables. You will be involved in all phases from Feasibility through Construction.
We are looking for someone who is comfortable working in a team environment. A person who has a firm grasp of land development, zoning, and building codes, as well as best practices, and construction detailing – plus excellent organizational skills and proficiency in Civil 3D. An individual who is able to take civil engineering concepts and follow through with the necessary construction documentation, as well as coordinate with architecture and other in-house engineering disciplines – assisting as needed with permitting efforts and construction activities.

Here's what you'll need
• Minimum of 10 years of civil design professional experience.
• Advanced knowledge and experience in the design process, construction documentation, construction administration, materials and methods of construction, as well as land development, zoning, and building codes.
• Advanced understanding of civil engineering design and it’s interrelationship with other disciplines.
• Experience performing construction administration activities – responding to RFIs, reviewing submittals, preparing field observation reports, and punchlisting.
• Willingness to work remotely and engage virtually with team members in different geographic locations.
• Ability to travel to the Conshohocken office and work there in person for a minimum of 2 days per week.
• Ability to effectively balance multiple priorities; coordinating work with engineering disciplines and specialty consultants; independently as well as collaboratively.
• Ability to perform quality checking or accept and implement quality checking by others.
• Experience supervising the work of other design professionals.
• Strong interpersonal skills – speaking, writing, listening, including client presentation skills.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D - creating grading surfaces, developing grading from engineering sketches, piping networks including pressure and gravity. If selected for an interview, we ask that the candidate be prepared to share examples of their experience using this software.
• Proficiency with MS Office, and PowerPoint, and Bluebeam Revu.
• United States Citizen.
Ideally you'll have:
• Focus on Life Sciences projects including but not limited to Pharmaceutical Manufacturing, Light Industrial, and Light Chemical.
• National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) experience.
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD (or MicroStation), Revit, and AutoTURN.

The base salary range for this position is $110,600.00 to $180,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
