Job Summary:
Halter Enterprises is seeking an experienced, detail-driven Accounting & Administrative Assistant to support accounting and administrative operations across multiple affiliated companies. This in-office, part-time role is ideal for a candidate with a solid accounts payable background who can work independently, maintain accurate records, and support office operations with minimal supervision. Additional hours may become available based on performance and business needs.
Hours:
- Part-Time, 15–20 hours per week
- Consistent weekly schedule required
- Preferred availability between 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently enter and code vendor bills and invoices in QuickBooks Online
- Review invoices for accuracy and proper documentation
- Maintain organized digital and physical accounting records
- Provide administrative and clerical support to internal teams
- Assist with data tracking and reporting in Excel
Qualifications:
- Prior experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- 2+ years of accounts payable or accounting support experience preferred
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information professionally
- Reliable, consistent attendance
