Supply Chain Coordinator
The Role
The Supply Chain Coordinator will facilitate planning and execution of replenishment for various finished, intermediate, and raw materials across CertainTeed Architectural facilities and lines of business to support network optimization. Specific duties include purchase order submission for intercompany transactions, finished goods stock transfer orders (STO's) between facilities, and production planning support for Acoustic Ceiling Tiles (ACT) and Suspension System products. -The incumbent leads tactical planning and analysis to ensure optimal logistical effectiveness, including minimizing freight costs and maintaining inventory levels within established parameters for warehouse capacities and working capital targets. The Supply Chain Coordinator is responsible for cultivating a continuous improvement approach to evolve processes and drive higher efficiency. As a member of the Supply Planning team -- fully understands and utilizes systems and processes to effectively manage material planning across the network.-
-Responsibilities:

Manages the Stock Order Transfer Planning process by analyzing demand and supply at manufacturing locations, crossover lines of business, and third-party warehouses to optimize finished goods movement and ensure on-time replenishment of stock requirements to maintain alignment with approved S&OP plans

Executes daily tracking of transferred goods, identifies deviations, and coordinates corrective actions with stakeholders

Evaluates monthly supply plans to validate feasibility and provides recommendations as needed

Reviews daily ATP reporting and coordinates/communicates adjustment plans accordingly

Serves as backup for ACT and Grid production planning as well as a secondary source of validation on schedule adjustments needed to cover demand

Maintains Material Resource Planning (MRP) data in SAP to best utilize our ERP planning system

Participates in all necessary supply planning related meetings -- providing critical insight to help resolve supply challenges

Partners with Site Buyers, Production Planners, Customer Service, and Preconstruction teams to coordinate material availability and resolve constraints.-

Contributes to the creation and presentation of process training materials to support integration across lines of business and creates standard work documents for Supply Chain processes and functions

Generates recurring content for monthly Executive S&OP review

Provides input to KPI development and tracking, audits data integrity, and ensures consistency of reporting

-Proactively seeks out opportunities to exceed Customer Service, working capital, and cost targets

Provides ad hoc data analysis and reporting to support S&OP evolution and initiatives as needed

Supports new product development through collaboration with NPD teams, product introductions or transitions, and other Product Management initiatives

Supports ongoing digital Supply Chain transformation initiatives, including process design and implementation-
Requirements

Bachelors degree and 3+ years planning and scheduling experience in a warehouse/shipping and manufacturing environment

Experience using SAP ERP or equivalent systems

APICS Certification or the ability and willingness to become certified

Proficiency in Microsoft Office products required
