Position Overview

Duration: Through 11/30/2026 (Approx. 10 months)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Hours: 40 per week
Start Date: ASAP

Position Summary

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong Agile and Scrum experience. This role includes dual responsibility for business systems analysis and assisting with Agile ceremonies.

The ideal candidate will have experience translating Line of Business (LOB) requirements into technical user stories and supporting Agile teams throughout the SDLC.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and translate business requirements into functional and technical documentation

• Write and refine user stories with clear acceptance criteria

• Perform data mapping and support gap analysis

• Participate in technical design discussions and test planning

• Facilitate requirement reviews and user acceptance testing

• Support Agile teams with backlog grooming and requirement clarification

• Assist with Scrum responsibilities including:

  • Facilitating Agile ceremonies

  • Removing team impediments

  • Tracking burndown and velocity metrics

  • Ensuring Definition of Ready and Definition of Done

  • Coaching teams on Agile best practices

• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
