Remote Commercial Counsel

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Commercial Counsel - REMOTE. As a pivotal member of the legal team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the legal landscape of commercial agreements and partnerships. Accountabilities

• Counsel on the risks and opportunities of proposed commercial actions, translating complex legal considerations into practical, solution-oriented guidance.
• Own all legal aspects of deal processes and engagements with customers, leveraging insights across Commercial Law, Product & Pricing Strategy, and Data Ownership.
• Partner with go-to-market leaders and finance teams to negotiate enterprise-level customer agreements that enhance sales cycles and capacity.
• Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams on innovation and operational delivery.
• Contribute to an inclusive environment where diverse perspectives drive better outcomes and champion equitable interview experiences.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school and active bar admission in at least one U.S. state.
• 6+ years of legal experience, preferably with significant in-house experience focused on product law, data privacy, or technology law.
• Background in technology, talent assessment platforms, or professional services/workforce solutions is strongly preferred.
• Experience in improving and operationalizing legal processes in a high-growth environment with successful cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent business judgment with the ability to balance risk-reward, providing pragmatic advice while enabling business growth.
• Interest in leveraging AI and defining legal frameworks for emerging technologies.
