Nexagen Networks is proud to announce the expansion of our cleared operations footprint in the Fort Meade / Hanover corridor. As we continue supporting the United States Army and Joint missions, we are growing our team of cleared professionals across engineering, cybersecurity, program management, logistics, and mission support disciplines.
As a Configuration Manager, you will support mission-critical programs by managing product distributions, version control, and system baselines. You will work closely with engineering, test, and cybersecurity teams to ensure proper configuration management practices and compliance with established standards.
Position Responsibilities
• Manage product distributions of hardware and software platforms, including beta releases, patches, and documentation
• Participate in configuration audits and fielding activities to ensure software baseline identification
• Perform process and procedure audits to ensure compliance with established standards
• Support the prime vendor in establishing version control processes and policies for hardware and software
• Support the Configuration Control Board (CCB), coordinating and validating change requests (CR)
• Identify and document the baseline for software or systems, maintaining technical specifications and user manuals
• Collaborate with engineering, test, and cybersecurity teams to ensure proper configuration management practices
• Maintain configuration records and ensure traceability of hardware and software changes
Qualifications
• BA/BS from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 10 years of related experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment alongside engineering, test, and cybersecurity teams
• Hands-on proficiency with Jira and Confluence; experience in DevSecOps or SAFe environments preferred
