Planner Specialist
Job Information
- Job Title: Planner Specialist / Facilities
- Location: York, PA
- Duration: 12 months (contract)
- Work Arrangement: On-site
Purpose
- Central contact for office strategies and workplace solutions.
- Coordinate utilization of new facilities, renovations, layouts, equipment updates, and utilities support.
- Ensure compliance with Ergonomic, OSHA, EPA, and local/state/federal codes.
Principal Duties
- Office interior design (layouts, fit outs, furniture purchases).
- Space planning per corporate standards.
- Monitor subcontractors and maintenance activities.
- Coordinate ergonomic practices and audits.
- Use AutoCAD and Computer-Aided Layout/Planning Systems.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and building codes.
- Interface with site and client disciplines to forecast space needs.
- Facilitate discussions on space requirements (headcount, growth, adjacencies).
- Manage change requests and special projects.
- Align occupancy plans with strategies and develop project-level solutions.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: B.S. degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or equivalent.
- Experience: 3–5+ years in space planning, interior design, or corporate real estate.
- Technical
Skills:
- AutoCAD (mandatory)
- MS Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel)
Other Skills:
- Strong analytical, communication, and spatial visualization skills
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations
- Project management and coordination experience
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Skills
