LTC Closed Door Pharmacist – 2nd Shift

A-Line Staffing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented LTC Closed Door Pharmacist for a full-time, onsite opportunity in Horsham, PA . This role is ideal for a pharmacist who enjoys a fast-paced environment, values accuracy and compliance, and is comfortable working in a closed-door/long-term care pharmacy setting.

Position Details

• Title: LTC Closed Door Pharmacist
• Location: Horsham, PA 19044 (100% onsite)
• Schedule: Full-Time | 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Alternating weekends required
• Pay Rate: $64.27/hour (W2)
• Job Type: Contract assignment (potential to convert based on performance/business needs)

Key Responsibilities

• Review, verify, and accurately dispense prescription medications
• Monitor patient medication compliance and identify potential over-usage or drug-related concerns
• Provide consultation on prescription and OTC medications (dosage, storage, side effects, interactions)
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, pharmacy files, and documentation in compliance with regulations
• Support pharmacy operations, including inventory and workflow coordination
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and effective medication therapy
• Assist with compounding, including sterile preparations, following proper procedures and safety standards
• Provide guidance/support to pharmacy staff such as technicians and clerks

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted State Board of Pharmacy license
• Long-Term Care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred
• AS/400 experience required/preferred (important for this role)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and compliance
• Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, team-based environment
