Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Occupational Therapist School Setting (Wilkes Barre, PA Area)
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide services in a school setting near Wilkes Barre, PA, with assignments in multiple locations close to each other. This position supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade with mild to moderate needs.
Location: Kingston area, Pennsylvania (with work at several nearby sites)
Schedule: 35 hours per week
Contract Dates: Immediate start through June 5, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy interventions tailored to K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Use best practices to assess student needs and monitor progress
- Provide direct therapy services, documentation, and reports in compliance with school policies and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy license and credentials applicable to school settings
- Experience working in educational or school-based environments is preferred
- Ability to manage caseload efficiently across multiple nearby school locations
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach with multidisciplinary teams
