Help our clients love their lawns.
New Castle Lawn & Landscape is looking for a Turf Care Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for applying our 5-step lawn care treatment program and monitoring the health of client lawns to keep them thick, green, and weed-free.
What You’ll Do
Apply our 5-step lawn care treatment program (fertilizer, weed control, grub/insect control, etc.) safely and accurately on residential and/or commercial properties.
Inspect and monitor lawn conditions on every visit (weeds, disease, insects, turf density, drought stress, damage, etc.).
Recommend corrective actions to improve the lawn (additional treatments, seeding, aeration, watering or mowing adjustments, etc.).
Communicate professionally with clients on-site:
Explain what was applied today
Answer basic lawn care questions
Note and report any concerns or upsell opportunities to your supervisor/office
Safely operate and maintain turf care equipment (spreaders, sprayers, hoses, trucks, etc.).
Follow all safety protocols and state pesticide regulations when handling and applying materials.
Complete daily paperwork or app-based reporting: services completed, materials used, time on site, and any recommendations for follow-up.
Assist teammates with general yard and equipment upkeep as needed.
