Responsibilities
- Carry out prescribed physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed PT, supporting rehabilitation goals for residents.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, transfers, and activities of daily living to promote mobility and independence.
- Monitor and document patient progress, report changes to the supervising PT, and adjust activities within approved treatment plans.
- Ensure proper use and safety of equipment, maintain clean and organized therapy areas, and follow infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with PT, nursing staff, and other therapy team members to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes.
- Adhere to privacy, safety, and regulatory requirements while delivering patient-centered care in a long-term care setting.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license in Pennsylvania
- Graduation from an accredited PTA program
- Current CPR (BLS) certification
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team within a long-term care setting
- Availability for a 13-week travel assignment with guaranteed hours
