Overview

At Advantexe, Business Analysts play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional client experiences across our simulation-centric learning journeys. Our analysts contribute to the design, development, testing, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of integrated AI-driven simulation-based learning solutions. There are three levels within the role: Business Analyst, Senior Business Analyst, and Principal Business Analyst , each representing increasing levels of responsibility, expertise, and client-facing leadership.

Business Analyst (Level 1)

This entry-level position supports all phases of simulation development and delivery. The analyst works under the guidance of senior team members and collaborates with instructional designers, simulation modelers, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), and client stakeholders to support high-quality learning engagements.

Key Responsibilities

Business Acumen and Business Leadership Content Development

Develop client-ready presentation decks and learning materials that align with the learning objectives and integrated simulation experience, covering strategic thinking, financial management, performance metrics, leadership, coaching, influence, and other key topics.

Simulation Industry Research

Conduct research to support simulation efficacy and realism, including:

Industry size, structure, challenges and opportunities

Company-specific financials and terminology

Product lifecycle dynamics

Gross margin norms and cost structures

Emerging trends and "wobbler" event possibilities

Simulation Testing

Test simulations to ensure functionality and fidelity, including:

Validating model assumptions and financial outputs

Testing scenario logic and cause-effect relationships

Ensuring accuracy across manuals, visuals, and gameplay

Simulation Delivery

Support live and virtual client events

Assist facilitators with real-time insights and data-driven debriefs

Required Skills

Strong foundational knowledge of business strategy, economics, and financial management

Proficiency in Excel and comfort working with data models

Exceptional attention to detail and research skills

Willingness to travel

Senior Business Analyst (Level 2)

In addition to fulfilling all Business Analyst responsibilities, the Senior Business Analyst:

Takes partial ownership of simulation projects

Leads portions of client calls and requirements gathering

Independently develops content modules

Mentors junior analysts

Begins to influence simulation logic and design

Principal Business Analyst (Level 3)

The most senior level, this role is for seasoned analysts with a strong business acumen and simulation fluency. They:

Serve as strategic partners to clients and internal teams

Lead complex simulation projects end-to-end

Shape simulation frameworks and scenario architectures

Drive quality assurance standards across all simulations

Represent the voice of the learner in every design conversation

Help build thought leadership and best practices at the firm

Location: [Business Analysts and Senior Business Analysts will work out of Advantexe Headquarters Offices currently located in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania]
Reports To: Vice President, Client Success

Starting Salary: $72,500 plus bonuses and incentives
