Job description:
Merenda Box is a brand new Conshohocken-based Brazilian bake shop. If you love coffee & pastries, love people, and want to learn from some of the most talented baristas and bakers, we'd love to hear from you!

Our Core:

Our team enjoys one another, creating a fun and pleasant atmosphere for our customers, all while crafting high quality coffee and tea beverages. Baristas provide courteous and knowledgeable customer service through excellent product knowledge, superior barista skills, and attentive and friendly customer interactions.

Skills:

• Enjoy people, and customer service is second nature.
• Ability to properly utilize brewing equipment to prepare coffee and tea with acute attention to high standards.
• Efficient, clean, and organized.
• Ensures proper food preparation by using approved recipes and following prescribed production standards.
• Greets customers courteously and interacts in a manner to ensure customer satisfaction. Relays relevant concerns from customers to supervisors.
• Serves customers quickly and efficiently, and prevents delays in serving lines.
• Demonstrates a complete understanding of daily menu items and accurately explains them to customers.
• Show a passion for coffee and willingness to learn more.
• Must be willing and able to work mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Able to meet the schedule and attendance requirements of the store.
• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Previous Barista/Coffee experience preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.
• Must be 18 or older.
