Job Title: Food Runner

Location: Wayne, PAJob Type: $10.00/hour plus tips

Position OverviewAs a Food Runner, you are a key part of the guest experience. You’ll work closely with servers, chefs, and management to ensure that dishes are delivered quickly, accurately, and beautifully. In our fine dining environment, presentation and timing are just as important as the food itself, and your role helps us deliver exceptional service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverages to guests promptly, ensuring correct presentation and temperature.
• Communicate clearly with the kitchen and service staff to coordinate timing and special requests.
• Assist servers by resetting tables, refilling water, and attending to guest needs as directed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the service areas, including expo line and stations.
• Uphold high standards of hospitality, anticipating guest needs and supporting smooth service flow.
• Support the team during peak service, jumping in wherever needed to ensure seamless dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, fine dining experience a plus.
• Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to carry multiple plates and navigate a busy dining room with grace.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands:

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 50 pounds. The employee will spend over 4 hours daily standing or walking.
