Alert Medical Alarms is a family-owned and operated company with over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. We are currently seeking a 1099 Contract Technician Installer to join our Medical Alarm Monitoring operations. Technician Installers are responsible for performing in-home/residential PERS (Personal Emergency Response System) installations, service, and retrieval of Alert Medical Alarms equipment.

Responsibilities for the Technician Installer:

• Delivery, initial setup, and testing of medical alarm units in clients' homes.
• Educate and demonstrate PERS/Med Dispenser equipment and services to clients and caregivers, ensuring comfort in its use and testing procedures.
• Communicate a general understanding of the PERS installation agreement to the client and have them sign the appropriate paperwork.
• Maintain and manage any inventory of equipment delivered to clients' homes by the Operations Manager.
• Occasional evening and/or weekend appointments may be required for emergency service work orders.

Requirements for the Technician Installer:

• Must have own vehicle.
• Patience and a professional demeanor when interacting with clients and partners.
• Familiarity with PERS, dealer portals, and device portals.
• Ability to work independently with direction.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Tech background is preferred.
• Willing to travel to perform installations.

Additional Information:

• $40 per stop
• Bonus: $250 bonus after completing 20 stops
• Mileage reimbursement on long stops. Which will be reviewed at the time of interview.

Position Details:

• Pay Rate: $40 per completed job
• Mileage Reimbursement: $0.62 per mile for anything over 60 miles
