Engineering Tech (2nd & 3rd Shift)
Conducts, maintains, tests, and repairs electrical/electronic components at an advanced level.
Responsibilities- Test, diagnose, and repair electronic components.
- Analyze issues down to the component level.
- Resolve intricate technical challenges through troubleshooting.
- Interpret sophisticated schematics.
- Provide training and support to other Technicians in repair processes.
- Comply with quality performance standards.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Minimum of a 2-year Electronics degree or equivalent Electronics certification.
- 2+ years as a proficient electronics technician.
- Experience in soldering, both thru-hole and surface-mount soldering on a PCB.
- Electronics troubleshooting and component-level repair experience on PCBs.
- Proficient in testing, troubleshooting, and repairing at the component level.
- Skilled in soldering and de-soldering techniques.
- Thorough comprehension of various technology systems and applications.
- In-depth knowledge of electronic circuit componentry and theory.
- Proficient in utilizing test equipment.
- Soldering experience preferred, especially on motherboards/circuit boards.
- Experience in working on radio antennas and amplifier transmitters.
- Required to pass a Technical Aptitude Test, when applicable.
- Strong analytical thinking and robust problem-solving skills.
- Experience handling Hard Drive devices and maintaining ESD policy standards.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Comfortable working autonomously and in a team environment.
- Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
Work hours are from 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, Monday to Friday. The position requires maintaining a clean and orderly work area and adhering to quality performance standards. The role involves utilizing various test equipment and working with radio antennas and amplifier transmitters.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of West Chester, PA. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $20.50/hr.
