Line Cook
Accredited Chef Laurent Tourondel is bringing his culinary expertise to Philadelphia with his new restaurant concept Terra Grill.
We are a group of passionate hospitality professionals with a profound sense of ownership and pride in all aspects of restaurant service. We are looking for talented and professional cooks experienced in saute, grill and fryer to join our opening team. Experience with l ive fire grill cooking is not required but would be preferred.
Primary Duties:
To properly execute menu items for Terra Grill guests. To work with your fellow team members in a professional manner. To anticipate your station needs.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Willingness to learn.
- Clear communication with chefs and kitchen team.
- Follow all standardized recipe cards.
- Utilize prep and inventory lists for the kitchen and stations.
- Attend pre-service meetings according to schedule
- Willingness to learn all stations within the restaurant to allow every kitchen member the ability to help one another when necessary.
- Always ask when in doubt of anything.
- Accurately cook orders in a timely manner.
- Able to possess an understanding of all menu items and preparations with training.
- Able to follow all company procedures.
- Ensure that your assigned station is set-up properly for service with all required mise en place and backups.
- Follow all food safety guidelines. Our highest priority is the safety and freshness of the food we serve our guests.
