Duration: 12 weeks (with possible extension)
Shift Timing: 7 pm to 7:30 am (NOC) | 3 x 12-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
Pay Rates:
· W2 (Local): $64/hr | $2304/week gross
· W2 (Traveler/Stipend): $74/hr | $2664/week gross
· Taxable: $20/hr | $720/week
· Non-taxable stipend: $54/hr | $1944/week
· 1099 (Local): $69/hr | $2484/week
· 1099 (Traveler): $76/hr | $2736/week
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to ICU-level patients boarding in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) at Temple University Hospital. This role primarily involves managing trauma overflow patients, with flexibility to support other critical care areas as needed.
Responsibilities
· Deliver comprehensive nursing care to ICU boarder patients in the PACU setting
· Perform patient assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate patient outcomes
· Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure individualized patient care
· Communicate effectively with patients and their families regarding care plans and progress
· Supervise and guide nursing support staff in accordance with hospital policies and standards
· Float to Emergency Department (ED), ICU, or Stepdown units based on patient census and staffing needs
Requirements:
· Active Pennsylvania RN License
· BLS & ACLS (AHA) required
· Minimum 1 year ICU (or related) experience preferred
· Trauma experience is a plus
