Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A full-time, contracted paraprofessional position is available in a K-12 school setting located in Scranton, PA. This role supports students with diverse needs and requires compassionate, hands-on assistance in daily activities including feeding, repositioning, and hygiene care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct support to students requiring assistance with feeding, toileting, diapering, and repositioning
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement individualized plans for students with special needs
• Maintain a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
• Attend required meetings and complete necessary documentation
• Fulfill all duties assigned related to the SPED population in the classroom
• Participate in a Zoom interview as part of the hiring process

Qualifications and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience as a school-based paraprofessional or professional experience working with children
• Comfort and willingness to work with students with disabilities, including toileting and diapering responsibilities
• Ability to obtain and complete all required Pennsylvania clearances
• Reliable transportation to and from the school site
• No restrictions that would impede the ability to perform essential job functions

• Schedule: Full time, up to 32.5 hours weekly
