As Assistant Principal, you’ll play a critical leadership role in shaping both student success and teacher growth. This is more than a job — it’s an opportunity to lead with purpose, inspire educators, and transform lives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Coach and Develop Educators
Use the Framework for Teaching to observe, evaluate, and support teachers through meaningful feedback and individualized growth plans. - Lead Instructional Excellence
Oversee curriculum development, alignment, and continuous improvement to ensure high-quality instruction across all classrooms. - Support New Teachers
Manage the Teacher Induction Program and mentor new educators to set them up for long-term success. - Drive Student Success Programs
Plan and supervise Extended School Year (ESY) and credit recovery programs. - Build Strong Partnerships
Serve as a key liaison between families, school districts, advocates, and staff—facilitating collaboration and communication. - Ensure Compliance & Operations
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure adherence to all educational and legal requirements.

Requirements
- Master’s degree in Special Education or related field with principal certification required
- Valid PA Special Education teaching certification required
- Minimum of three years of professional experience in an educational setting related to the instructional process required
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid PA driver’s license and car insurance
