Job Description :

GENERAL OVERVIEW:

Performs a wide variety of journeyman level operations which include construction, alterations and finishes.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Performs new construction, additions, renovations and structural repairs according to Federal, State and Local Government Codes. (40%)

• Repairs, replaces, installs and builds hospital areas and casework including finishes. Performs preventive maintenance and inspections.(40%)

• Installs doors, frames, window units, access panels; replaces plastic laminates. (20%)

• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum

• Trade School Diploma or equivalent experience

• Hospital Carpentry Experience

• Ability to read architectural drawings and detailed carpentry drawings
