Shop Mechanic

Pay: $20–$25/hr (based on experience)

Location: Camp Hill, PA

Job Type: Full-Time

Job Description:

We’re hiring a Shop Mechanic to join our team in Camp Hill, PA . This hands-on role involves working with electric motors, pumps, and rotating equipment. You’ll be responsible for disassembly, cleaning, repair, and reassembly of mechanical and some electrical components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and reassemble electric motors and pumps.
• Clean and repair mechanical parts.
• Perform grinding and other prep work as needed.
• Troubleshoot electro-mechanical rotating equipment (AC/DC).
• Replace or repair worn or defective parts including:
  • Brushes, bearings, motor leads, gears, seals, impellers, switches, etc.
• Operate specialized testing and repair equipment:
  • Test panels, surge testers, core loss testers, and more.
• Work with water pumps, sewer pumps, and related equipment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $41600.00 - $61000.00/yr.
