Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shipping/Receiving Clerk to manage both inbound and outbound shipping operations. The ideal candidate will ensure the proper delivery of items to their intended destinations while maintaining high quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound and outbound shipments.
• Ensure proper delivery of items to intended destinations.
• Coordinate with drivers and assign dock doors.
• Pay attention to detail when dealing with FDA regulated products.
• Prioritize quality over quantity in all tasks.
• Identify mistakes and ensure compliance with GMP/SOPs.

• Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Strong inventory management skills.
• Proficiency in shipping and receiving functions.
• Ability to coordinate pick orders and loads.
• Excellent communication skills with drivers and team.
• Proficient in using WMS, Google Applications, and Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Data entry and bills of lading management.
• Forklift operation skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good computer and RF scanner skills.

• Familiarity with GMPs/SOPs is a bonus but not required.
• SAP/Inventory experience is a plus.

Work Environment

Work in a large 500,000 square ft. semi-climate controlled warehouse with 40 employees. The facility is brand new and features air conditioning in the summer, though no heat in the winter to maintain product temperatures. The site serves as a distribution hub for chocolate manufacturing, handling the roasting of beans and production of chocolate liquor, powders, and cocoa butter.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bethlehem, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
