Accounts Receivable Specialist Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $29.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift ( Sunday through Thursday from 08:00am to 05:00pm )

• Manage daily accounts receivable, billing, invoicing, and payment applications.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, account issues, and customer disputes.
• Prepare and maintain billing for direct shipments, freight, and non-stock credits.
• Reconcile cashbox activity and assist with journal entries and account tie-outs.
• Communicate with customers and internal Sales teams regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
• Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze data and support accounting and A/R functions.

Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable or a related accounting role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, journal entries, and account reconciliation.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, spreadsheets, and data analysis.
• Experience with billing, invoicing, payment application, account research, and resolving discrepancies.
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Sales/use tax, payroll tax, or other business tax experience preferred; high school diploma required, accounting education preferred.
