About the Role:

As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Loyalhanna Care Center, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, including:

• Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming

• Providing assistance with mobility and ambulation

• Monitoring vital signs and reporting any changes to the nursing staff

• Maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents

• Interacting with residents and providing emotional support and companionship

Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized care to each resident, tailored to their specific needs and preferences

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

• Collaborate with the nursing team to ensure accurate and timely documentation of resident care

• Participate in activities and events that promote resident engagement and enjoyment

• Demonstrate a commitment to quality care and resident-centered services

Requirements:

• Certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Pennsylvania

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Ability to lift, transfer, and reposition residents with assistance as needed

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
