HYBRIDOur client, a nationally recognized law firm with a premier restructuring practice, is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its Business Reorganization and Financial Restructuring group. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney looking to work on sophisticated bankruptcy and restructuring matters at the intersection of complex litigation and high-level transactional work. The practice is known for advising debtors, creditors, committees, and other stakeholders in high-stakes restructurings across a wide range of industries.
Candidate Profile
- JD from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record
- Active Bar Admission in the applicable jurisdiction (PA, NY, TX, or CA), in good standing
- 3–5+ years of substantive experience in business reorganization, financial restructuring, or commercial bankruptcy matters
- Meaningful experience handling both litigation and transactional aspects of sophisticated bankruptcy cases
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills , with the ability to draft complex pleadings and transactional documents
- Demonstrated aptitude for client interaction and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-demand environment while managing multiple priorities
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and solutions-focused
- Large law firm experience strongly preferred
Key Responsibilities
- Represent debtors, creditors, committees, and other parties-in-interest in complex Chapter 11 and out-of-court restructurings
- Handle a broad range of bankruptcy litigation matters , including contested motions, adversary proceedings, and negotiations
- Advise clients on restructuring transactions , including asset sales, financing arrangements, and plan-related matters
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, disclosure statements, plans of reorganization, and transactional documents
- Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to deliver comprehensive restructuring solutions
- Engage directly with clients and opposing counsel while helping to manage matters efficiently and strategically

Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: $250,000–$295,000, commensurate with experience and class year
- E ligibility for a discretionary bonus.
