Job Title: 2nd Shift Finishing Associate

Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join our team as 2nd Shift Finishing Associates. In this role, you will operate machinery and be responsible for the back-end operations of wrapping stations. This position involves repetitive tasks and requires some lifting.

Responsibilities

• Operate automatic machines to manage the back end of wrapping operations.
• Build boxes, inspect finished reels, and box finished material.
• Place finished boxes onto a skid and perform quality inspections.
• Push/pull carts, ensuring no box of rolls weighs more than 20 lbs.
• Learn and execute two different processes: Automatic and Wrapper.
• Load finished wallpaper rolls into automatic cutting machines.
• Thread machines, load paper rolls, and move carts to staging areas.
• Load reels onto slitters and cut them into 30 ft rolls for retail.
• Prepare finished products and place them on pallets for shipping.
• Track work progress using paper documentation and stay organized.

Essential Skills

• Experience in machine operation and inspection.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and packaging operations.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use tape measures.
• Attention to detail and quality check capabilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in press room or printing press operations.
• Strong paperwork management and organizational skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of York, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
