Clinical Laboratory Scientist
Careerscape is recruiting for a Harrisburg hospital laboratory that needs Clinical Laboratory Scientists to perform complex medical tests on patient samples. You'll analyze blood, urine, and other specimens helping physicians diagnose and treat diseases.

- Perform complex laboratory tests on patient specimens
- Operate and maintain automated laboratory analyzers
- Analyze test results and report critical values
- Troubleshoot instrument problems and calibration issues
- Ensure quality control standards are met
- Follow laboratory safety and infection control procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Train and supervise laboratory technicians
- Participate in continuing education and competency testing
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field
- ASCP certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist
- Active Pennsylvania laboratory license
- 2-4 years of clinical laboratory experience
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and techniques
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication with physicians and staff
- Comfortable working rotating shifts
