Senior Estimator
A well-established commercial contractor is hiring a Senior Estimator to join its Pittsburgh team and lead preconstruction efforts on projects ranging from $100K to $45M. - Lead the estimating process for commercial construction projects from bid pursuit through proposal submission.
- Prepare and manage hard-bid estimates ranging from $100K to $45M.
- Collaborate with operations, project management, and leadership teams during preconstruction.
- Mentor and support estimating staff while helping improve estimating processes and best practices.
- Contribute to the growth of the estimating department and provide leadership as a future Chief Estimator successor.
- 10+ years of commercial construction estimating experience, including projects valued at $10M+.
- Proven success preparing and managing competitive hard-bid estimates, with proficiency in estimating software (Trimble WinEst preferred).
- Communication and collaboration skills with the ability to thrive in a team-oriented, culture-focused environment.
- Experience level: Experienced
