Telemetry RN Job Details – Du Bois, PA

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1910 - $1960
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (October 6, 2025 – January 5, 2026)
• Healthcare Setting: Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU), Telemetry
• Nursing Shifts: Rotating 12-hour shifts (Day: 07:00 – 19:00, Night: 19:00 – 07:00), 3 shifts per week
• Hours per Week: 36
• Patient Population: Adults and Geriatrics
• Patient Ratios: Days: 1:5, Nights: 1:6
• Weekend Coverage: Every other weekend required
• Scrubs: Navy blue or white
• Charting System: Cerner EMR

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN or IMCU nursing experience
• Experience with Cerner charting system
• Ability to float to other units as needed
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Must complete PA fingerprinting and Childline process upon contract signing
• Lab work required within 72 hours of contract signing
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius of Du Bois, PA

Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with respiratory and cardiac diagnoses
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms; respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications, manage cardiac drips (no titration), and perform IV therapy
• Care for patients with central lines, PICC lines, surgical drains, and feeding tubes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including physical therapy, respiratory therapy, and pharmacy
• Accurately document patient care using Cerner EMR
• Float to other nursing units as required
• Participate in weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
