Job Summary:
Mountain Operations is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic leader to join our highly successful Lift Experience Team. We’re looking for someone who can inspire the team to perform at their best while managing a safe, engaging, and adaptable work environment
The Lift Experience Assistant Manager is a dynamic position that requires strong organizational,technical, training and people skills. The ideal candidate will be able to make timely, informed decisions in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment. This position works closely with the Lift Experience Manager and Assistant Manager, as well as 2 Lift Experience Supervisors and their teams, to ensure consistently high standard of service for both external guests and internal employees. You will also collaborate with the Lift Experience team at Attitash Mountian.
Key responsibilities include daily oversight of the Lift Operations Team, ensuring appearance, performance, safety and guest service standards are maintained to the highest level expected. A positive attitude and professional demeanor are essential to help cultivate a supportive and motived work environment. A successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with team member across departments and at all levels of management.

- Starting Wage: $25.00/hr -$29.55/hr

Job Responsibilities:
- Oversight of Lift Operations Supervisor’s performance and effectiveness.
- Ensuring Lift Operations Supervisors and front-line staff have everything they need to be successful in their position.
- Work closely with Management and Resort Leadership in planning of seasonal ramp-up/ramp-down, and seasonal operation plans.
- Partner with Management and Resort leadership in establishing policy/procedures in areas of appearance, performance, safety and guest service.
- Ensure daily operations meet requirements and are in compliance with associated regulatory agencies; CPTSB, OSHA, ANSI, USFS.
- Ensure policies and procedures, as well as pertinent company/resort/mountain information is being communicated in effective and timely manner.
- Facilitating opportunities for individuals with high leadership potential. Actively searching for that potential in all staff.
- Ensuring all staff are held accountable for adhering to policies/standards of the resort/department, and being involved in Coaching/Disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Daily/Weekly oversight of expense budget and labor budget adherence based on business levels.
- Work closely with Management and resort Leadership in preparing operational budgets for both Winter and Summer.
- Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- High School Education
- 3+ years lift operations experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Programs
- Excellent Written and Communication Skills
- Prior Supervisory experience
- Advanced Skiing/Riding Ability
- Bachelors or Other Secondary Education
- Knowledgeable of Company System and Process
- Familiarity with Payroll, Purchasing, Scheduling Application, Social Media Channels
- Experience in a KPI driven environment with desire to test and learn

The expected pay range is $25.00/hr -$29.55/hr. This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for this position. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.
