Team leader - audio visual coordinator

Responsibilities

• Commitment to personal walk with Christ through daily spiritual practices (Bible reading, prayer, personal worship, confession, and fellowship), modeling integrity and reliability to staff, volunteers and the BCC church family.
• Plan praise sets that include a balanced mix of hymns, contemporary worship songs, and modern praise choruses, representing both past and present styles to reflect the full range of the congregation’s spiritual journey.
• Comfortable using a click track and guide, as well as in-ear-monitors. Able to use MultiTracks and the Playback application.
• Recruitment, oversight and development of the volunteer members of the BCC Praise Team - musicians and technicians - including:

§ Ongoing, collaborative, two-way communication with team members including quarterly team meetings,

§ overseeing rehearsal, song selection, and training / educating individual team members as needed in regard to use of equipment, livestreaming software, lighting, and camera use,

§ maintaining a consistent rotation schedule to actively involve a wide range of praise volunteers in Sunday worship,

§ leading the musical portion of Sunday worship, and/or identifying, training, and encouraging others to do so.

• Timely, on-site support of all staff with day-to-day technology needs related to church management software, and use of platforms such as Canva and RightNow Media.
• Creation and updating of the weekly digital slides for the Welcome Center and the pre-service announcement loop, and the church website to ensure all information is accurate and current.
• Timely and consistent completion of administrative responsibilities including budgeting, necessary paperwork, ordering / repairing of equipment and instruments.

Time Commitment, Salary & Evaluation

This position will require 15-20 hours per week of on-site work that will be assessed via successful completion of output tasks. Some hours will be fixed week-to-week (e.g. Thursday night rehearsal). The salary will be $30,000. Vacation days and time off for major holidays will be provided as well.
