Electronic Chip Manufacturing Technician – Cleanroom Environment
12-Hour Shifts Available: 6AM–6PM or 6PM–6AM

About the Role
Join a growing semiconductor manufacturer and work hands‑on with high‑tech cleanroom equipment. This role supports wafer fabrication through photolithography, etching, substrate cleaning, and precision measurement. You’ll operate advanced tools, follow controlled procedures, and play an important part in producing next‑generation electronic components.
What You'll Do
- Operate manual and computer‑controlled semiconductor equipment to meet production and quality goals.
- Set up, run, and monitor tools used in photolithography, wet/dry etch, cleaning, and metrology processes.
- Work with team members to process wafers and optical components accurately.
- Use software to track performance and make small corrections to improve productivity.
- Follow quality procedures, identify issues, and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
- Support additional production duties as assigned.
What You Need
- Basic computer skills, including Excel and Word.
- Ability to lift light materials as needed.
- Ability to sit or stand for 3–5 hours at a time.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Experience
- Cleanroom or manufacturing background.
- Microscope experience and strong manual dexterity.
- Interest in learning complex machinery and technical processes.
- Experience with electronics assembly, soldering, circuit boards, or semiconductor equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Allentown, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.50 - $30.00/hr.
