Role Specifics and Benefits:
As an LPN in Long-Term Care, you’ll be at the forefront of daily resident care and interdisciplinary collaboration. Key responsibilities include administering medications within scope, accurately recording assessments and interventions, monitoring vital signs, recognizing subtle changes in condition, and communicating findings promptly to the RN and medical team. You’ll support activities of daily living, give wound care and skin integrity oversight, assist with mobility and transfers, and contribute to nutrition and hydration monitoring. Participation in care planning meetings, pain management oversight, and coordination of restorative or rehabilitative activities will be part of your routine. This role offers clear pathways for professional growth—advancing to charge nurse responsibilities, serving as a preceptor for new hires, and pursuing LTC-focused certifications that deepen expertise in geriatric, palliative, and rehabilitative care. Starting date 02/21/2026, with an assignment length described as several weeks and extension possibilities contingent on mutual fit and facility needs. As with all travel assignments, please anticipate that hours and schedules will be determined by census, patient complexity, and facility requirements. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process.
