Senior Accountant / Billing Finance Manager

Growing organization seeking a hands-on Senior Accountant / Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate, timely reporting. This role will manage AR/AP, general ledger activity, reconciliations, commission calculations, and support payroll and year-end processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee invoicing (including AIA and progress billing), cash applications, and aging reports

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and vendor reconciliations

• Maintain general ledger, prepare journal entries, and complete monthly bank reconciliations

• Calculate and record commissions; support payroll processing

• Assist with audits, year-end close, and preparation of files for external tax accountants

• Maintain accounting systems (SAGE) and identify process improvements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2–5+ years of progressive accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of GAAP

• Proficiency with accounting software (SAGE, QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar)

• Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to detail
