Optical Technician
As we scale our manufacturing capabilities for fiber lasers and amplifiers, we are looking for a
hands-on Production Technician to join our team. This is a role for someone who wants to see the direct impact of their work; you will be instrumental in ramping up production, ensuring highquality output, and occasionally bridging the gap between manufacturing and R&D. Whether you are a seasoned fiber optics veteran or a detail-oriented technician with a background in electronics, optics, or physics looking to pivot, we want to hear from you. You'll be working with a diverse and expanding product range, meaning your daily tasks will remain fresh and challenging. What you will do:-
Precision assembly: Perform the full lifecycle of fiber laser/amplifier assembly, including
stripping, cleaving, splicing, and recoating optical fibers.

System integration: Assemble and integrate fiber laser/amplifier components into both
OEM modules (compact components for other machines) and benchtop setups
(complete units for laboratory use).-
Testing and calibration: Use high-end diagnostic tools to verify performance, including
OSAs, power meters, photodiodes, power supplies, and oscilloscopes.

R&D collaboration: Assist in the assembly and testing of prototypes for new products
and participate in challenging R&D projects.

Quality control: Maintain rigorous standards to ensure every unit meets our highperformance
specifications.

Process improvement: Identify bottlenecks in the production line and suggest "smarter"
ways to build.
What we are looking for:

Educational background: A degree or certification in physics, electronics, optics, or a
related technical field.

The "Touch": You must be comfortable working with fragile components. If you enjoy
steady-handed work (like PCB soldering or watch repair), you'll likely excel here.

Technical literacy: Ability to read schematics, follow complex standard operating
procedures, and document test results accurately.
- Experience: Familiarity with optical fibers and related equipment is a major plus.
- Mindset: You are rigorous, detail-oriented, and thrive in a varied environment where
you might build a standard product in the morning and test a prototype in the
