We are presently seeking full-time Counselor IIIs in our Behavioral Healthcare Division.
This position will perform a wide variety of tasks designed to effect the lasting rehabilitation of patients engaging in our mental health, substance abuse, and co-occurring programs. These tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Completion of intake assessments, individual counseling, group work and support of ancillary activities.
- Development of individualized treatment plans consistent with licensing and regulatory agencies’ guidelines.
- Maintenance of accurate, comprehensive, and timely documentation of service activities, interaction with client, and client progress.
- Collaboration with members of client’s treatment team, family, and personnel of other community agencies actively involved with client to coordinate treatment efforts.
- Participation in educational meetings and trainings related to alcohol abuse and mental illness treatment.
- Participation in quality assessment and improvement activities to develop and expand the efficiency and quality of Behavioral Healthcare Services.
Must have a Master’s degree in Human Services field or related field and two (2) years of experience in substance abuse or related field. Psychology and one year of counseling experience preferred . Local candidates only please.
