ASGCO has an IT Support Tech position open for someone with a great positive attitude and excels at working in Information Technology operations that helps drive the business. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Provides first level support to resolve problems with products and applications by meeting customer service standards (i.e., displaying a positive attitude, actively listening, taking ownership, leveraging knowledge, communicating clearly).
• Analyzes and prioritizes incoming requests.
• Attempts to resolve problems by applying documented solutions.
• Routes problems as necessary to appropriate resources (i.e., support team, vendor).
• Provides status updates.
• Runs and terminates network cables.
• Performs documented break/fix repairs on PCs, thin clients, printers, servers, mobile devices, and held devices and software applications.
• Interacts with third party hardware and/or software vendors by initiating and supporting vendor services as necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

• Associate degree or bachelor’s Degree; Computer Science, CIS, or related field.
• 1- 3 years of experience providing first level support for IT systems in a corporate setting, including diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving incidents.
• 1- 3 years of experience in software installation and support.
• Basic understanding of the IOS and Android OS.
• Expertise in Microsoft windows and office products.
• Familiarity with the following hardware and software is a plus: Fortinet , Cisco Meraki , Mobility Unity platform & RFGen , Veeam backup software , and Mitel phone systems .
• Experience or background with Salesforce is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Frequently exposed to regulated noise, cold working conditions also exposed to smells that are within the guidelines.
• Possible exposure extremes in temperature and humidity, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, toxic chemicals, fumes or airborne particles.
• While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs and ladders, work on elevated platforms, talk, hear and see.
• Occasionally it may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 100 pounds) during the workday.
• Personal protective equipment is required on a regular basis, which may include a hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, gloves and other required protective equipment as required.
