Right of Way Laborer/Landscaper. 12 temporary/full-time positions with Creo Green Energy LLC from 4/1/2026 - 9/30/2026.

Workers typically perform a variety of land clearing/ground restoration tasks as classified within OES Code 37-3011 Landscaping and Groundskeeping Workers, to include digging of holes/trenches for natural gas pipeline install on private properties. Tasks may include any combination of the following: clearing of ground level vegetation, using chain saws or shred larger tree branches with a brush chipper, digging/backfilling soil with hand shovels, seeding, grading, watering, mulching, weedeating, and debris cleanup as part of the installation process. Workers may operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin-axle vehicles, brush chippers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, or pruning saws. The size depths of the holes and/or trenches that will be dug and backfilled are 2'X2'X2' by hand shovel. The grading duties are as follows: Remove vegetation/dig with a shovel then replace the dirt and compact with hand tamper. Then rake and level dirt and seed to prevent soil erosion. May have to add topsoil to level off the ground. Keep client's private rights of way clear of debris by stacking brushes, trees off road. Clean, sharpen, and lubricate tools and equipment. load and unload equipment/materials/supplies. Must follow all safety regulations and Creo Green Energy LLC safety guidelines, including but not limited to employer-provided personal protective equipment. Our Right of Way Laborer/Landscapers do not operate heavy machinery or assist with laying or handling of any pipe as part of the natural gas pipeline installation. Additionally any heavy tractors/equipment are operated by our certified Equipment Operators. Our Right of Way Labor/Landscaper duties are limited to clearing ground level vegetation in preparation for their digging 2'X2'X2' holes/trenches by hand shovel followed by replacing the dirt and compacting the earth post pipe installation. In addition to chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters and pruning saws, these workers operate small Kubota Zero Turn lawn mowers (Model ZD326) and XP90 Bandit brush chippers to accomplish this work. Additionally, workers may occasionally drive twin-axle small utility task (UTV) vehicles (Polaris Ranger 570 UTVs) on private properties to more effectively transport equipment/workers between areas. All above ground tree trimming duties are performed by separate workers in the position of Tree Climber. Right of Way Laborer/Landscapers assist only in trimming vegetation from the ground and perform groundsmen debris cleanup tasks as classified within OES Code 37-3011.00.

Must lift/carry 50 lbs., when necessary. Standard workweek is 4 days per week. Friday and Saturday work required, when necessary. Employer-paid drug testing required of foreign and domestic workers prior to commencing work and post-hire at random, upon suspicion of use, and post-accident.

On-the-job training will be provided to the worker.

Employer pays in advance or reimburses workers in the first workweek for all government-mandated and visa-related fees (excluding passport fees). For non-local workers (i.e., residing outside normal commuting distance), employer reimburses inbound travel costs at the 50% point in the contract (unless paid in advance). Inbound travel includes transportation costs from worker's permanent residence or place of recruitment, a daily meal subsistence (based on rates required by law, currently $16.28 per day minimum or $68.00 per day maximum for workers with acceptable receipts), and reasonable lodging costs, if applicable. Travel reimbursements based on least-cost common carrier rate. Employer provides or pays outbound travel costs upon completion of the contract period or early dismissal, except where the worker has subsequent employment.

Employer guarantees to offer hours equal to at least three-fourths of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total contract period, beginning with the worker's first workday and ending on the contract end date or any extension thereof. Employer may count all hours worked, as well as any hours offered within the standard work schedule that a worker chooses to not work, up to the maximum number of daily hours on the job order.

Workers who voluntarily abandon employment are not entitled to payment for outbound travel costs or the full three-fourths period guarantee described above.

Employer provides without charge all tools, supplies and equipment (incl. uniforms, if applicable) necessary to perform duties assigned. If requested, employer helps non-local workers secure optional worker-paid lodging.

JOB LOCATION:

872 Main Street Anita, PA 15711 and multiple worksites within Westmoreland, Armstrong, Beaver, Bedford, Blair, Butler, Cambria, Cameron, Centre, Clarion, Clearfield, Clinton, Crawford, Forest, Fayette, Elk, Huntingdon, Indiana, Jefferson, Juniata, Lawrence, Lycoming, McKean, Mercer, Mifflin, Potter, Somerset, Venango, Warren and Allegheny counties.

Employer provides incidental transport between job sites. Employer may deduct reasonable costs for daily transportation to/from worksite from designated pick-up location. Use of employer-provided transportation is voluntary.

WAGE INFORMATION:

Wage rate is no less than $18.69 per Hour. Overtime hours vary at: $28.04 per Hour.

Raises and/or bonuses may be offered at employer's discretion, based on individual factors such as performance, skill, and tenure. A single workweek will be used to compute wages due. The payroll period is weekly. Workers are paid by check on Friday. The standard work schedule is from 7:00 AM until 5:00 PM, Monday through Thursday.

Employer will offer 40 hours per week. Employer may offer more than the stated work hours, depending on weather, business needs, and other conditions. Extreme heat, cold, rain, or drought may affect exact working hours.

Employer makes all payroll deductions required by law. Employer does not envision other workforce-wide payroll deductions. Voluntary deductions must be pre-authorized in writing and may include the following: Voluntary advances and/or loans made to workers, if any, may be repaid by pre-authorized payroll deductions. Employer deducts reasonable fair market value cost of rent/utilities based on number of occupants for workers electing to reside in employer-arranged housing (cost TBD). Daily transportation to and from the worksite from a centralized designated pick-up place will be offered at a reasonable cost to workers. The use of this transportation is voluntary.
